Game Review

Turned up with just five players, Andy was home playing with his bike, God these guys like to get the games on quickly, I had just put my darts case down, had a wee and vrooom we were off! The 4 a side was a good win, could have gone either way but we edged it. First up for the singles was the mammal man himself and he stormed it with a good performance. Second was me, tuf game as the lad kicked off with 130 (D5 T20 T20) and the followed it up with 100 and 140, lost that leg but managed to win the next two for the game. Cliff "Bristow" Southam had by far his best game yet, absolutely storming the singles with treble twenties galore. The greek was up next, he had his chances put a poor performance by his recent standards. Andy finally put his spanner down and turned up at the venue, too late to play singles but played with Jabber in the first pairs, unlucky to lose on doubles. The second pairing of Cliff and The Greek fought like two asthmatic gladiators with balance issues and were beaten 2-1. I managed to win the captains leg, star date 11th June 2009. On the whole a good win, they were the best side we have come up against as of yet but it was a little disappointing that we did not get at least one more point.
